Mandarin Chinese or Spanish Emphasis Option
Cyprus is offering the option of small-group, ability based Mandarin Chinese and Spanish classes as a regular part of the school day. This includes extra classes each week of a structured and directed language experience for students.
Elementary Musician Development Program
a comprehensive study of music for the young musician
This is a year-long program for students in grade K - 3 and includes:
* Instrument lessons (for one or more instruments)
* Music Theory
* Composition
* Music Technology
* Music History
* Ensemble groups
* Special performance opportunities
Enrollment for 2011- 2012 opens in January. Limited space available. Audition required to determine class placement. Please come to our open house for more information.
Classes are held as an extension of the school day.

Cyprus also provides special classes to develop artistic and musical talent. These classes are integrated into the regular school day for those children who attend.
Music Masters This class offers the opportunity for children who already read music and play an instrument and have strong ability in music to develop their talent.
Art Masters: In this class, children are taught higher level concepts and work on challenging projects.
